We thought this place was much more formal and had not considered it for a casual family meal - it was just by chance that we were in town one night and this was one of the last places open.

What a pleasant suprise! The front window showcases one table that overlooks the main drag. The rest of the dining room is at the back of the restaurant, with a beautiful view overlooking the river.

The menu prices were very reasonable, to downright cheap for some of the comfort food options. The night we went was a town event, so the restaurant seemed a little disoriented and was out of our first choice, homemade mac and cheese. We settled for sandwiches and chowder, and all were quick to come and were delicious.

The room was perfect, the staff was so accommodating and the food was fantastic.  We have been receiving compliments on the event all day.  It was such a perfect setting (even on a rainy day).

great while. The owner truly cares that every person that visits 11 Water Street
enjoys the food an atmosphere and it shows.
